It was a blistery cold morning, and they'd finally finished the long haul from Nevada to a small town outside of Denver. When Lucy woke up, she was tired from the long journey, but the moment she stepped outside, she had to appreciate the scene in front of her. Off in the distance, the mountains were stunning, and Lucy wanted nothing more but to get closer. She wanted to explore this place, as she did everywhere that they traveled. Knowing that she only wanted to share this experience with one person (though she couldn't explain why - particularly not to her parents), Lucy found herself wandering over to the trailer that she was mildly aware that Ted drove. She was sure that he'd be exhausted from the trip - she'd slept all night in the Winters' trailer, while he drove his own - but it didn't stop her from knocking on his door around ten. It was light out, and she was bored. |

WHO Ted and Lucy WHAT Meeting each other~ WHEN Daytime WHERE Training tents RATING Low, but suggestive comments between a minor and an adult! STATUS Complete
Lucy made it a habit to occasionally bring the leftover sweets to the performers, who often had to train when not getting ready for a big act the following night. There were always scraps of chocolate and other sweets that they simply had no use for, and Lucy's parents encouraged her to bring them to some of the Carnival workers. The air was dusted with little drops of rain, barely enough to even call it rain but just enough to make Lucy's hair curl over her shoulder. Shuffling quickly into the tents, Lucy was greeted by a slew of tired performers on a break.
Something caught her eye, however, from the corner of the tent. Lucy perked up when she realized that there was someone new that she had not seen perform before. She always scoped out the new performers, often gushing about how jealous she was of their new jobs and how much she wanted to be a performer. Bidding a trapeze artist goodbye, she hurried over to the corner, sitting in a chair just in front of this new man's training. She watched interestedly, wondering what this new guy's talent was. It was always a thrill to meet new talent, Lucy thought to herself, especially when he happened to be a bit attractive. |
